Our approach

Therapy that honors your whole experience

  • Presence

We sit with what is hard without rushing to fix it. You do not have to tell the story to be heard.

  • Method

We name the method we use, explain what it asks of you and what it can stir up, and you can say no to any of it.

  • You set the speed

Your clinician checks the pace at the start and end of every session. You can pause, slow down or skip a question at any time.

    How pacing works

Ways to work with us

Ways of working, for every stage

Individual therapy

One-on-one sessions for adults who carry something from the past. We start with what you want, and go at the speed you set.

Couples sessions

For couples in which one or both partners carry a trauma history. Each partner meets the therapist alone first.

EMDR

A structured therapy in which you recall a memory in small steps while following a guided movement. Preparation comes first, and you choose what to work on.

Skills group

Eight weekly sessions for a small group of adults to practice settling skills together. No one is asked to share their story.

“I did not have to tell the whole story on the first day. My therapist asked what I wanted to work on, and what I wanted to leave alone for now.”
